The German Language Course

During the first five to six weeks in Germany, you can attend a German language course which is organised by the SPRING Programme in co-operation with the Language Centre (Sprachenzentrum) at TU Dortmund University. To respect the different levels of language proficiency we offer a beginners’ and advanced course executed by a team of experienced language teachers and tutors. The language course is complemented by course about regional studies and cultural specifics of Germany.

The language tutors will also assist you in administrative matters. To get familiar with your new environment, they will introduce you to the city of Dortmund, university-facilities and places of interest as well as organize and escort you on local excursions. You will receive considerable information about our country, as well as many useful tips on how to manage daily life in Dortmund.

At the end of your German classes, you will be able to cope with typical everyday situations and basic conversation with fellow students, neighbours and new friends.
